BIO

Dr. Robbins was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. He received his MD degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his Ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College. The doctor later added a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Rochester, where he is an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Robbins a board-certified LASIK surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Professional societies include the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the Refractive Surgery Interest Group (RSIG), the American College of Surgeons (FACS), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS) and the International Society of Refractive Surgeons (ISRS).

Eye doctor, Allan Robbins hobbies include computers, digital photography and sports car racing. When Dr. Robbins is not seated behind his laser, he can sometimes be found at Watkins Glen strapped behind the wheel of his racecar. Dr. Robbins and his SharpSight Motorsports team captured the New York State Road Racing Championship in G Production and GT-2 in 1995 and 1996.
